Fill every row, column, and 3×3 block with all nine colors, no repeats. That is the whole game. What changes is how much of the board you start with, and how much technique it takes to finish.

Is this the same as normal sudoku?

Yes. The rules are identical. Every row, column, and 3×3 block holds all nine colors, no repeats. The only change is that a color stands in for a number, so you read the board by sight instead of by reading digits. There is no math in sudoku at all. Here is why.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and nothing to download. Your scores and settings are saved in your browser, on your own device. A puzzle you leave before finishing isn’t kept.

Is it free?

Yes. Every difficulty is unlocked in the browser right now, including the daily challenge.

How do I get better at harder puzzles?

Every move a hint teaches has its own animated lesson. Start with Hidden Singles, then work up to pairs and the X-Wing. See all fifteen techniques.

Will a hint just solve it for me?

Only if you want it to. A hint names the technique that applies and walks through the reason one step at a time. You can stop as soon as you see it. You can also read what to try when you’re stuck, step by step.

Does it work on my phone?
